This sauce is delicious and versitile. It can be used to simmer meat and/or veggies in and poured over rice. Sometimes I need something even quicker for just myself (I'm the only gluten-free family member), so I will pour a bit of it on a baked potato.

Over the top? Whatever - maybe for tomato sauce! - reluctant techie - olympia, wa
I was excited for this product as I LOVE tasty bites - punjab egpland, madras lentils and bombay potatoes are awesome. Poured it over my jasmine rice and it looked good. Took it out of the microwave and tasted like...lightly spiced tomato sauce. Gave it to the dog and after a few licks she gave up too.
Look elsewhere for "over the top" flavor. Tasty bites used to be waaaay better/spicier. I suspect their popularity is causing them to "bland" the products for a wider audience??? Typical.

Good, but needs better triage - L. Shelton - Philadelphia
This brown rice tastes fine, and the quantity is perfect for a filling lunch below another tastybite dish with sauce. The problem is: some of the grains are not well separated from the hulls, and I found quite a few hulls in all the packets I ate so far. I do not enjoy the hulls AT ALL, and I have to waste time digging through the rice to pick them out. So, if tastybite fixes the "hulls problem", 5 stars. With hulls: 3 stars. For now, I find that Gogo Brown Rice has less hulls, and that's what I'll buy until Tastybites fixes the problem, thank you.

Vegan. Natural. Kosher. Chana Masala is a top favorite vegan Indian dish. Was very happy and eager to try another choice for Chana Masala from Tasty Bite, especially because Amazon seems to have trouble keeping the Chana Masala's in stock because they are so popular. Did not disappoint! Very enjoyable. Sweet coriander is the most prominent flavor note. The brown savory gravy is delicious. The amount of chili is very mild, so not very hot at all for Indian cuisine. Heat affectionados may want to add chili pickle, or their favorite condiment. Made with onions, chickpeas, tomatoes, sunflower oil, coriander, salt, spices, chilis, bay leaf, and turmeric. 360 calories and 12g protein per pouch. Flavorful and filling. A bit dry, especially when served with potatoes. Otherwise, enjoyable! Good reheated, too.

This chana masala was ok. It had a very pronounced sweet onion flavor. On the plus side, it was mild and not too wet.
To make it better,make it less sweet, a little more salty and a little dryer in texture.
It was good with toasted chapathi.
